1. Definitions

A large motor vehicle carrying passengers by road, especially one serving the public on a fixed route and for a fare.

2. Disclaimer

The TRACbus App is only to be used by people who have completed the TRAC Program.

Whenever possible, complete evaluations using the TRACbus App on your own phone, even when riding the bus with other evaluators.

3. Privacy

While you are not required to take photos during your evaluation of a bus trip, you can if you think it will help us understand your comments about your trip. Photos you submit as part of your evaluations become the property of Cornell University. They will be used to show transit providers things that are going well, and things that may need improvement. Tips for helpful photos:

1. Avoid taking pictures of individuals (i.e., do not take photos of other passengers or bus operators. Instead, photograph the specific issue or area that you would like to include with your evaluation of your bus trip.

2. For example, you may want to note that a cracked sidewalk leading to the bus stop made it difficult for you to get to the bus stop, by taking a picture like the one below.
